Once upon a time, a little lamb was drinking water from a river. Upstream, a hungry wolf saw the lamb and thought, “I will eat this little lamb.” The wolf shouted at the lamb, “How dare you make the water dirty I am drinking!”
The lamb, very small and innocent, replied politely, “Sir, I cannot make the water dirty. I am drinking far below you.”
The wolf said, “Last year, you insulted me!”
The lamb calmly replied, “Sir, I was not born last year. How could I insult you?”
The wolf was very angry. He said, “I don’t care about reasons. I will eat you anyway!” And with that, the wolf jumped and ate the poor little lamb.
